Summer. No school. Live music. Games. Free food. Free t-shirts and other cool stuff. What better way to spend a Friday afternoon?!?!
The fun all happens Friday, July 19 at Bisset Park in Radford from 12 noon – 6 p.m. NRVCS is hosting its first-ever “Summer Youth Fest,” an event open to teens throughout the New River Valley between the ages of 13 – 18.
UPDATE: For the safety of our guests, teens entering the main event area on Friday will be asked to leave their bags with staff upon checking in.
Each teen attending Summer Youth Fest will be given a complimentary drawstring backpack that includes: sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hand-held fan. These backpacks will also include important information about the dangers of opioids, marijuana, vaping, and underage drinking.
