Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Do you experience any of the following? If so, NRVCS DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) may be the help you need.
- Feeling “out of touch”
- Emptiness or loneliness
- Stress and/or difficulty with change
- Difficulty with regulating emotions
- Impulsive behaviors
DBT is an evidenced-based therapeutic program that typically lasts a full year. This treatment has the potential to enhance your quality of life and help you reach your personal goals. As a participant in DBT, you will learn skills to increase joy, find supportive relationships, regulate emotions, and better manage stress.
Program participation gains BIG results! However, those results require that you dedicate 4 hours per week to your mental health for 1 year. Participation includes:
- Outpatient Therapy (1 hour session)
- DBT Skills Group (2 hours)
- Diary card
- Optional: DBT informed Case Management and Mental Health Skill Building are available when appropriate.
