“Day of Hope” community celebration planned for Saturday, May 3
NRVCS, in partnership with Montgomery County, is pleased to announce a “Day of Hope” Community Celebration, scheduled for Saturday, May 3 from 11 AM – 2 PM at Christiansburg’s Huckleberry Park. This event is FREE and open to the public. It will be held rain or shine.
The goal of this family-friendly celebration is to promote wellness and recovery, while reducing the stigma often associated with substance use in our community by building community resiliency and connections.
There will be live music from three regional bands, as well as food trucks, activities for all ages, and information/resources from local service agencies. If your organization would like to have a table or booth at this event, please email mwade@nrvcs.org by April 18. (Organizations will need to provide their own tables, chairs, and canopies.)
