NRVCS (New River Valley Community Services) is the public provider of behavioral health services to residents of the New River Valley.
NRVCS offers community-based programs for both children and adults who are living with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or substance use disorders.
Established in 1969, NRVCS serves the counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski, and the City of Radford. New River Valley Community Services is part of a state-wide system of Community Services Boards, which serves residents throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. NRVCS is also a proud member of the Virginia Association of Community Services Boards.

Board of Directors
NRVCS is governed by a 13-member volunteer Board of Directors. Board members are appointed by the five local governments served by the agency.
