The New River Valley Community Services (NRVCS) Board of Directors appointed Melanie Adkins, Senior Director of Clinical Services, as Interim Executive Director – effective December 5, 2024.
Melanie brings 28 years of extensive experience serving in several key leadership roles within NRVCS and will be responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the organization, serve as a bridge between the Board of Directors, local stakeholders, and Department/State leaders, as well as continue in her current role as Senior Director of Clinical Services, during this transition period.
